uSpace: Acceptable Use AgreementI agree to...

1. I agree to read and agree to these rules before I user my uSpace account.
2. I agree to only log on to Ultranet and uSpace with my own user account. I will not allow anyone to use my account.
3. I agree to keep my password safe and not tell anyone else what it is.

I will not...

1. I will not get involved in any activity which might put myself or anyone else at risk (e.g. bullying or harassing). If I accidentially see, find or hear about inappropriate material on uSpace, I will:
- Not show others,
- Turn off the screen or minimise the window, and
- Tell a teacher or supervising adult immediately.

2. I will not at any time use the messages, comments or uploading in uSpace to upset, offend, harass, threaten or in any way harm anyone connected to the school or the school itself, even if it is meant as a joke.

3. I will not upload, share or link to inappropriate, age restricted or objectionable material.
4. I will not make any attempt to get around or bypass security, monitoring and filtering in place.
5. I will not attempt to hack or gain unauthorised access to the system.
6. I will not upload, download, share or link to illegally obtained files such as music, videos, games or programmes.

I understand that...

1. I understand that breaking copyright and taking/using content I do not own without permission is illegal. I also understand that anyone who breaks copyright may be personally liable under law.
2. I understand that that the school may audit/check the uSpace network and my profile at any time, which includes any messages and stored content.
3. I understand that that if I break these rules, the school may inform my parent(s) or caregiver(s). In serious cases, the school may take disciplinary action against me. I also understand that my family may be charged for repair costs. If illegal material or activities are involved, it may be necessary for the school to inform the police.
